Deror Jewellery is honour to design the Pipeline Necklace to celebrate the 25th anniversary of International Justice Mission ("IJM") with all the effort to fight poverty in the world.
Inspiration
The Pipeline necklace is inspired by the Ted Talk of Gary Haugen, Founder of IJM in 2015.
He used a pipeline as an analogy to explain that a holistic approach to pull all the elements together by adopting effective legal framework and training, law enforcement and social support. With its edge of strong legal background, IJM is dedicated to strengthen the local justice system as one of its initiatives to stop violence before it starts. Prevention is better than cure.
Design Concept
The bar symbolizes Pipeline of Justice, and the seamless and smooth chain represents the living water. As the pipeline is working well, it allows water to flow freely. The freshwater baroque pearl represents the people whom IJM have encountered and rescued with their rough story but they are special and unique. Each of them is so valuable.
For every piece sold, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to IJM in supporting their work.
