✨The Story Behind the Twelve Stones Necklace✨

A lot of people ask me which piece is my favourite design — among 150+ pieces over these 5 years, it’s always such a hard question to answer. But if I really had to choose one, it would be the Twelve Stones Necklace — the founding design of Deror. 

Before I took the leap of faith to begin this journey, I prayed earnestly for confirmation from Papa God. One night, I vividly dreamt of a necklace — the Twelve Stones — and heard the words:

“Today, you are going to cross the Jordan River.”

I woke up and immediately sketched what I saw in my dream, still pondering those words. Later, as I read the story in the book of Joshua, I discovered that crossing the Jordan River symbolises stepping into freedom and taking hold of inheritance — trusting God completely as He leads into the unknown.

As I created the Twelve Stones Necklace, I realised that the Israelites’ story was also my own — stepping out in faith, into uncharted waters, believing that He goes before me and will make a way where I cannot see. 🌊

Looking back over the past 5 years, those seasons of uncertainty have become my most precious times — moments where I’ve encountered His love and faithfulness more deeply than ever before. On this journey, I’ve learned that when I can’t see the road ahead, I can only lean into His presence and trust His heart. 🤍

To celebrate Deror’s 5th anniversary, I’ve designed a new edition for the Twelve Stones Collection — a reminder that I’m still counting on His love to lead me, even through challenges and darkness.

This anniversary edition uses wire as a symbol — because at times, the journey has truly felt like walking on a wire — each step taken in faith, trusting Papa God to hold me steady when I can’t see the ground.
